That'll be me. It's up for sale as well in case anyone else is reading! You'll find it on PH if you filter for SC's.

Me in Evora S & Red Esprit & Silver Elise S1

All of us going about our own business, I joined from Woolley Edge services, to find Red Esprit just ahead of me and then at next junction a silver S1 joined. Breiefly in convoy until I had to pull off at next junction.

Re: Time to move on - any tips?

Unless I come into some money will definitely need to sell in Autumn/Winter because going to enter the Ginetta G40 GRDC. SO the GRDC will be my road sports car and will get an old BMW 5 series, Z4, or Audi A5 or something else around 10k as a second car.

Re: Time to move on - any tips?

In response to a point above, I've had the clutch replaced (Lotus/Dealer combined contributed 75% of the cost) and every single little niggle about Evoras you'll find on NYLOC and SELOC fixed under warranty.
e.g.
Headlights relaminated
MY12 Gear cables and Gear stick etc
Leaking boot
Bluetooth on ...

Dealers are offering them at £37k upwards, so I would be happy at £36k

Burnt Orange Evora & Red Sports Racer - Park Square

2 rare Lotus's on same street at same time....

Burnt Orange Evora (single figures made in this colour)

Sports Racer and a very well used one at that - love seeing cars that aren't garage queens and used as intended ...

Time to move on - any tips?

Going to sell my Evora S - been a fantastic 15 months but need to release some capital for a house move.

Will be back in a Lotus soon no doubt.

So any tips for selling it? Classifieds on here and Pistonheads obviously but what would you look for in the advert?

Re: Black Evora, North Leeds

That'll be me, accelerating to the legal speed limit only, but with sports exhaust making it sound like "caning" ;-)

My 1st spotted through 4 different Lotus's over many years!

2 Evoras around York (3 if you count me)

2 Evora's on Friday

One Red Sports Racer on the A64 on the opposite carriage way to me (I was heading to Leeds, he/she was heading to York)
Chrome Orange parked up miles from any other car in the car park on a retail park in York (Clifton Moor/Rawcliffe)

Given I've never seen another on the road ...

Re: hi newbie here

Only in Leeds. But I spend my tiem chatting on the SELOC forum, because I can't access the members one here.

Tried to make it again last night, but 5 month old baby had other ideas. Would be nice to be able to get involved online

Re: hi newbie here

I might come along too...what time do people typically get there for and what time to people start to drift away? i.e. what time's best to be around for a newbie (to NYLOC not Lotus)
