Re: Getting the car professionally washed/valeted

Got some of this stuff from ebay 2 weeks ago - product number 260551353002.

Its called Greased Lightning Showroom Shine, recommended by my neighbour who uses it on his SL55AMG.

It says you can use it without washing the car (tried it on my old Rover and you can it is really surprising, but wouldn ...

Re: Exige Wheel Shake

Seems like I have solved the problem - yesterday fixed a screw head in each of the retaining screw holes for the brake discs (the originals haveing sheared off when trying to remove them for the new brakes), they must be at the most a gram in weight each, and only about 30mm from the centre of the ...

Re: Exige Wheel Shake

Thanks Simon,
The speeds you mention are exactly as it happens, I just can't understand why it is only after changing the brake discs that it has manifested itself, haven't touched the wheels or tyres.
I still need to invest in a new set of rears yet anyway, might have to re-mortgage and get a full ...

Exige Wheel Shake

Hi,
I think I may be opening the floodgates here, judging by some of the comments/queries on other forums, but I have an issue since changing the brakes on my car.

I now have considerable wheel vibration between speeds that maybe I shouldn't list, but it starts not far over 70. I have had both ...

Re: Yoko AO48R's

Hi All,

Thanks for the feedback. The price from Camskill is for rears (225/45/17/90W), also just had Jay from Pure Lotus confirm he can't match the price, so looks like Camskill may get an order, certainly sounds a good price if anyone else interested.

Thanks Again
Andy

Re: Yoko AO48R's

Thanks for that, are JCT generally competative?

Just had a quote online from Camskill Tyres for £153 each inc. VAT plus £2.45/tyre delivery which doesn't sound too bad, anyone got experience of them? Guess should be able to get fitting around £10 a wheel?

Yoko AO48R's

Hi,
New to this nyloc stuff, had my Lotus for around a year now and may go for full membership, was wondering if anyone had any good cost effective source of AO48 tyres? (rears in need of a change surprisingly!). Have spoken to Pure Lotus re a price, but want to get the best price I can.
Thanks
