Yes 50th anniversary it was - memory not completely shot! 😁 I've kept in touch with the new owner in Denmark so when on our summer Europe tour a couple of years ago we stayed with them for a few days. Car is being very well looked after. I'll have to dig out some pics.

Sad day - this is tonight on its way to Denmark. Pleased it's gone to an enthusiast though - he has just sold his 1963 super seven to get a 'more practical' Elise!

Been receiving enquiries from Europe recently - so it could be heading abroad... Would be a shame for another S1 to leave our shores but if that's where the buyers are then off it goes.

Good point, Steve and that is true of the other car parks on the estate. However, at the Strid car park, we are able to offer our tea room customers 1 hour free car parking so you can enjoy a cuppa and a light meal or cake. If you're there for longer to walk around the estate then the parking/estate ...

Ah yes. Will do, Paul. In the future I hope to encourage some Nylocers to call in on their runs out to the Dales. We do a fine range of good food and drinks!

That was me too! That's where I'm working now. Bought the tearoom with a mate and made a big life change!
