I spotted two chaps in parked up in a layby just outside Wetherby at about 12.30 today. 2 mins later saw another two Loti heading in that direction. Looked very much to me like a little get-together. Almost stopped to say hello but needed to get back to Newcastle.
Saw a few more earlier today as well. A silver S2 on the ring road and an orange Exige S2 on the A58 just before the ring road.
I'll be waving in my sleep tonight.

Sounds like you spotted the gathering point for the run to Martin House. They were leaving a layby outside Wetherby around 1:30pm I think.

Yes it was me and Dave Pollard, we saw you pass as we were chatting, must admit we thought you missed the layby,and was from NYLOC, thats why we didnt wave.

Nice wave you got there Tim, The black and silver S2's you saw 2 minutes later was Neil Exley and moi, heading for the NYLOC rendevous.
Old Lotus don't die they get fixed and if it cannot be fixed with a BIG hammer then you have an electrical problem.
I thought it was too much of a coincidence for it not to have been an organised run out. You picked a good day for it.
Mark - you would have seen my NYLOC car sticker had I stopped. I was a member but it's lapsed. I'm from Skipton but now live in Newcastle and can't get to Buckles each month, it's just too far for me.
