If it is still, take a photo of it. If it moves, take a photo of it.

Thanks for the support guys, i feel a bit gutted, been with the company 17.5 years -never had a single day off sick (true!) and never late- but for bean counters thats not enough.
Another 300 workers added to the growing army of unemployed.

Cheers, Dunx.

Cheers Matt, it's not like they're not selling product, powers that be would rather do it in Ireland where they can get away with paying less tax.
It's China next- where they can pay the workers £1.00 an hour. They're building a factory as I speak!

Many medical companies are moving manufacture to Ireland because of the tax breaks etc. The Beeston site is down in history as the first site to really produce a good consistant hip replacement - the Charnley, this news is very very sad. Once again skills will be lost.

Ireland think they're the bees knees but totaly rely on us to sort problem manufacturing processes out for them and anything even slightly difficult is left with us (lots of knee products and patellas ect have been returned to leeds because they couldn't make them in Ireland).Leeds has long been known for its inovation when developing new lines.
Some truely brilliant engineers (not me) will be lost in this move.
Before long GB will make nothing, import everything and be at Brussels Knees with cap in hand.
Cheers, Dunx.

Dont do it Dunc.
You really wont get significant cash for an S1 Elise even if it is one of the best I know.
You could never replace it.
Hold out for as long as possible and sell everything else first
