Good evening Gentlemen (and Ladies!)
I met one of your members this afternoon - Jeremy (or Jez) as he was driving past my house and had spotted my 2010 plate white Lotus Elise. I bought it last Friday from JCT in Leeds and love it.
Jez suggested I should take a look at the site and join in with one of the meets however I am golfing in Spain (volcanic clouds permitting) so will be away for next Tuesday however will make the one in May.
Great to find some kindred spirits
Looking forward to chatting with you all.

If you don't make it off the ground this week, there is a meet on Friday, Charity do and talk by chaps form Lotus (it is very good and funny) worth a trip over especially if you don't think you can make the 27 (hopefully the air will be cleared by then)
Cheers

Cheers

Ah, therein lies the rub. To join you have to come along to a meeting. We do this because we're more of a social club than anything else - or as I sometimes put it - an offline club with an online presence and not the other way around. Once you're a member, that's it, you can renew by post or online banking but we do like to see people at the meetings, it's all about the camaraderie.
Welcome.
Lovely car btw.

Just like to point out that I'd love to come along, but find the timing/venue/'induction process' a little unfair for those who work shifts and/or live a fair distance away.PaulT wrote:Ah, therein lies the rub. I know what you're saying, but NYLOC was started by a group of friends and although we've grown to over 150 members and are a limited company, that's still the very essence of the club. Requiring one trip to join is all we ask.

Matt, I work shifts and manage to attend 90% of monthly meets. in you're defence though you do live 2 miles further from the Buckles than me
(and 10miles less than Stripey Si + Lee)
