Bought New for Total: £1,550 on 27/10/2010.
The laptop was purchased for my Digital Forensic MSc course however, with the bulk of software that we use being Linux/Mac based it is unneeded to me (the funds from this will go towards the Mac that I require instead) - it has been used for around 20 hours in total and as such is in excellent and immaculate condition. It is fully functional and unfortunately must be sold.
This laptop has the power of a high-end desktop PC and as such will perform all tasks blazingly quick. Tasks such as Rendering, CAD, Video Editing, Photo Editing, Code Compiling, Media creation and High-end/Brand New Computer Games are what this laptop was designed for.
By way of additional official upgrades (components aside) it has the 9-cell battery, allowing greatly increased lifespan and productivity whether you are in Economy Power Saving Mode or Performance Mode.
It comes with the standard Alienware Accessories:
Alienware felt Laptop case/cover
Alienware Mouse Mat
Alienware Baseball Cap
Alienware User Manual
Alienware Recovery DVDs
+ more.
The physical dimensions of the laptop are:
Height 48.7 mm (1.92 inches) - Front and Back
Width 377.93 mm (14.88 inches)
Depth 308.51 mm (12.15 inches)
Weight 5KG
It comes with a pre-purchased 2yr Next Day Hardware and Service Facility to your Door (via Dell I am informed).
The total package weight is around 7KG - I can arrange courier, or collect/deliver depending on locations involved.
The Laptop's hard-drive will be military-grade data-wiped and the fresh Operating System image will be installed cleanly over the top.
Feel free to ask any questions - I will pop up some photos tomorrow evening.
** This is listed on several other sites and will sell to the first serious buyer **
Advisory Price Range: £1200-£1350
If you have any questions, feel free to PM me, or email me at my work address on Matt.Hunter *at* Tees.ac.uk (will receive Out of Office reply, but I will check and respond).
Thanks

I've got the M17 equivalent. WHAT a BEAST! Did the bench mark test on it and it was getting 1000+fps on one of the demo games.

You have good taste my friend, unfortunately my desktop is my games machine, so this laptop isn't needed for that function.

Is that any help?
And suddenly I realised that I was no longer driving the car consciously. I was driving it by a kind of instinct, only I was in a different dimension. Ayrton Senna

If it is still, take a photo of it. If it moves, take a photo of it.
