Hi Strawman

Thanks for your patiance in this instance, as i hopefully explianed in my email to you this is not the norm. At the time of your email enquiry we were experiancing trouble with the system if the enquiry came from a certain source, unfortunatly the way we found out about this issue was from customers like yourself not getting a return contact from either the sales or service deptarments.

As you can see, as soon as the email reached us it was jumped on by 3 different deptarments.

Hopefully Byron has helped you with some of your questions.

Just to reassure this was not the norm, as far as the service prices go i understand from talking to the service manager (Mark Fredericks) Byron has been heavily involved with coming up with some new service prices and hourly rates, by the looks of things it could be as low as £58 per hour,(was £80 per hour)

Thanks Again

Andy

Yes, I was going to update this and say that normal service appears to be resumed.

The car was in on Weds/Thurs and, whilst it had a couple of advisories, it was a refreshing change to have a realistic assessment of what is urgent or not compared to when I had the Porsche and everything was always urgent if you dealt with the main dealers.

As I mentioned to Neil. When the prices are far from Indy prices then it pushes people like me towards the Indys (especially when you don't get a response to queries) but it sounds like you realise this and while I don't expect main dealer servicing to be without a premium, it should be reasonable. The price Neil got to was what I would consider reasonable so I guess we are all ultimately happy.

Anyway, hopefully teething problems are now sorted and with any luck I won't see you again till next year :)

Cheers
Andy
