These pages will help regarding the alpine headunit.

http://www.alpine-electronics.co.uk/pro ... 0p-20.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.
The owners manual is on the support link at the very bottom of the page on the 2nd link.

Otherwise next time that you are at jct i will personally run through the headunit/portable sat-nav unit options. :wavey

Absolutely not a problem. :D Pleasure to be of service!!.
Once you have played with the various options/menu's i really really like the alpine headunits :nerd .
the 1st evora that i worked on i made a coffee and sat in the car for approx 1hr just playing with the settings so now i know the units like the back of my hand.
Will have to learn the new pioneer system when i get my hands on one. Not long now. :D

Did you let Joe have a quick blast in your B3 at some point? Not sure what his internet pseudonym is but he's the chap from York with the gunmetal grey E90 D3.

Hi yes Joe (IAMJoe on thealpinaregister) had a go in the B3 BT about a year ago before it went back to the leasing company. I still have an identical D3 on the fleet, same colour as Joe's, Sparkling Graphite. Best car I have ever driven, I just can't bear to let it go. The ride, handling, performance, refinement and economy are sensational.

I took the Evora on a long trip yesterday, York, Coventry, King's Lynn, York. Picked up a front wheel for it off ebay in Coventry, fitted easily on the back seat. It is such a practical car for its size and layout. Promises to be an excellent tourer. The speedo is amazingly accurate (verified against TomTom) so I am assuming the average fuel consumption for the trip of approx 35 mpg is accurate too. Excellent. I swear that as we crossed the border into Norfolk the Evora suddenly beacme more perky ;)
