This is a very rare 1987 Lotus Excel SA, which is the Automatic version with the reliable ZF Auto box and High Compression 180 BHP Engine. The car is Metallic Mediterranean Blue. Currently has Approx 108400 on the clock however its had a new cylinder head including valves etc in 2004.
Usual top S.A. specification including Cruise Control, Air Con (Sadly Doesn't work and will need converting to new gas type), Remote Central Locking, Grey Leather Interior, PAS, Electric Windows, Electric Mirrors, Alloy wheels, Kenwood Bluetooth Radio. Alarm and Immobiliser.
I have spent over £3500 in the last 2 years of ownership.
Work done in my ownership includes
New Battery,
New Windscreen,
New PAS Rack,
Heater Fan
Front suspension bushes replaced, Front suspension joints replaced,
Stainless steel exhaust up to manifold including FlexiPipe,
New Toyo Proxes T1R tyres all round replaced in the last 2 years (probably done about 5000 miles?)
New brake discs and pads all round, Brake lines replaced front to back. Drivers side Door Beam replaced.
New VDO Clock, rheostat, Oil Pressure sender unit.
Windscreen Wiper Motor Replaced
New Starter Motor
New Under-tray
New Air Horns
She drives really well, and is insured for £5000, I have a file full of history on the car from all previous owners including first owner and a letter of provenance from Lotus confirming authenticity.
Car is Taxed till January and tested till April 2013
