Hi Fellas,

Car is settling very nice in it's new home in Hong Kong (HERE are a few club snaps for anyone interested)

Engine has a had an overhaul (and eliseparts exhaust fitted :bravo ), just working on the suspension now and getting some new tyres fitted,

The interior is looking really tatty so that's my next job. I'd appreciate any advice I can get on sorting it out...

1. Dash Panel with 'Elise' wrote on it

Sadly the paint has been chipped off and is flaking above the radio.
Can this be repainted? If so what is the code? Where can i get the paint from?
...or where can I buy a new panel from? I've searched on all the elise part internet shops, but with no luck!

2. The Floor

It's looking really faded and discoloured. Any secrets for bringing the colour back to it?

3. The Seats

They're all scuffed and large 'grey' areas are visible where they should be black. Are there any leather treatment products to 'liven them up' also?

4. The Seat Rails

5 years sat in a barn have not been kind to it and the rails etc. have a layer of rust on them. I want to remove them and repaint them.
- is it easy to remove the seats? Do I have to go under the car?
- What is the best paint to use?

5. The Chassis

It's all scuffed and marked and I can't seem to wash off the shoe sole scuff marks.
I recall reading some tips on how to do this years ago... does anyone have a link/ that info?

Thanks in advance!

For the floor and chassis, magic sponges (jml or others are available) are the way so go, seats, are easy to remove, I had one of mine out the other day to install a new runner, to remove the seat from the runners it is just a case of 2 nuts and some Allen head bolts.

Re your scuffs you an get some dye but I tend to just use a sharpie marker pen, re the dash part, sorry I do not think lotus released a paint code for it, most people either paint them to match the car or wrap them
Cheers

Den
