Road registered Elise 111S that has been carefully prepared to make it into a very effective road-class hillclimb car, allowing me to win the Harewood Championship in 2013. Would make a great trackday car that can easily be driven there, enjoyed and then driven home again. Would of course also make a very quick road car.
All aspects of this Elise have been reworked to ensure complete reliability and ultimate performance:
Engine - Piper 1444 cams, Cosworth forged pistons, VHPD rods, Jenvey throttle bodies. Rebuilt at Hellier Performance less than 1000 miles ago.
Rolling road setup shows 190bhp at rear wheels (c. 230bhp flywheel)
Ignition - Emerald (relocated inside cabin)
Re-wired to remove Lotus "gremlins"
Transmission - Standard 111s close ration box (makes it bearable on the road) with Quaife LSD
Suspension - Nitrons, re-bushed and rose-jointed, shot blasted and powder coated
Brakes - Elise parts discs, OE calipers
Wheels - 2 complete sets of Rota lightweight alloys, one silver, one black and additional set of black fronts. All with Khumo Ecsta V70a supersoft list 1B tyres in various stages of wear. One set almost brand new.
Chassis - no damage, clean and well kept. Suspension mountings perfect
Bodywork - clean, no crash damage, currently has ultra-light hardtop fitted
The car only weighs 691kg so it is very quick (320bhp/tonne)
I have fitted a quick-release steering wheel and race seat but originals can be refitted.
MOT until March 2014 and I will renew for purchased. I will tax as required. All paperwork available
