Hello! This was me... bit of a delayed response. I'm trying to rejoin NYLOC after a while with no Lotus.

Dan
You'll be made very welcome back into Nyloc, and at the Buckles if you can make it
There aren't many with a join date to the forum much earlier than yours
Good that you have seen sense again and got a Lotus

[Nyloc 1]

Great news Dan, welcome back! I still fancy an S2 49 like you used to have.

Hi Steve and Alan, thanks for the warm welcome back! Its good to be back in Lotus ownership again, Ive been having an affair with a Clio V6 for the past couple of years (well it was fibreglass and rear engined!) and along with getting more involved with my bikes, I thought it was time to get back into another Lotus again. Hey Alan you should get hold of a Type 49 S2 if you can find one, I'm sure there was one for sale for about £18k when I was looking for my Exige, which is a lot of coin for a K-series powered elise, but they are a rare thing!... the chap that bought mine (subsequently from a dealer) called me a few years later to tell me the head gasket had gone not long after he bought it!

My newly acquired Exige is just in at Chris Foulds currently having a bit of a fettle, hope to have her back next week.

Hope to see you all again at Buckles if not before xmas in the new year.

All the best
Dan
