Hello All
I am looking to buy an Evora 2+2, 2011 or earlier NA (would like newer or an S but my budget stretches only this far). My problem is that there are not any in my price range at local dealers at the moment, at least that I can see, so if anyone is looking to sell a good one or knows of a nice car for sale within easy reach (I'm based in Knaresborough) then please let me know. A dealer car would give me confidence but one known on an enthusiast forum is also reassuring.
I did stop in at JCT600 in Leeds this week and the guys there kindly let me look around an Evora (beautiful Motorsport Green one but new and therefore outside my budget) to check my 10-year old daughter fitted in the rear. Would love that colour or one of the brighter blues with Sport and Tech packs.
Ideally I will look to get one for mid-April since it is my birthday then, plus we have an extension being built at the moment so I need the builders to get all their stuff out of my garage and the skip off my drive.
Thanks for reading this far and I hope someone can help me.
Roy

One here check for sale section
Well, that does look a very nice car indeed but my budget tops out at £32k so £38k is too rich for me, I'm sorry to say.

Sure, just put it aside for me for 6 months and I'll be back to you
In the meantime I'll keep looking out for an alternative priced nearer £30k.

Well I'm looking to buy a car and funding a house extension so unfortunately I need to stick close to £32k. Thank you for the offer though.

Good spot - that must be new in. It doesn't mention anywhere if it is a 2+0 or 2+2 as far as I can see though so I'll have to give them a call.
Thanks for keeping a look out for me. Much appreciated!

Maybe you have a young child you can sell, or a kidney you're not using that you could sell
Well if I sold my daughter I could go for a 2+0 (like the one at Silverlink turns out to be) and save a bit of moneyEuropatc wrote:MrOverheads wrote:Can have mine for £36k - Can you not stretch that £32k budget just a little.....0% credit card? Zopa loan?

Still on the hunt for a 2+2 closer to £30k and not located in Edinburgh or Dorset like a couple of nice ones seem to be.
So, my search appears to be over. I agreed to buy this car today and I have put a deposit down. It's in Surrey so I have taken a bit of a punt and bought it without actually seeing it in the flesh. However, it is a car that has been documented on another forum and comes with a warranty. So, unless anything really untoward is apparent when I go down next week to view and test drive it, it will be coming back with me to its new home in Yorkshire.
One question - where is a good specialist garage fairly local that I should take it for servicing and anything that might crop up under warranty?
