Hi all, I've had a 2014 Exige S for a short time; not long enough to really get familiar with the engine, which I have a question about and wonder if anyone can help?
There's a 'rattle' or 'knocking' sound that comes from the supercharger most noticeable whilst on tick over. Is this normal?
Please excuse my ignorance, I'm embarrassed that I don't know this!

I honestly don't think there is an issue with yours.
But if you would like re-assurance then either pop into jct and ill have a listen/look or another lotus main dealer will do the same.

Rarely do I pop in such threads and say owt... but here lies the reason I think it's rather super duper that we have someone such as Byron from JCT answering tech questions in his own time and coming along to the Buckles to do something similar. Byron, you might not get a great deal of thanks but... on behalf of the club... thanks.
