Hello all,

Edit - this has to go by the end of September so I have reduced it to £9,000 which is a bargain for such a great car.

Includes hard top and canvas roof.

Thanks

Dave

After 9 years of ownership, it's time to pass my pride and joy to someone new... I am really going to miss it!

I haven't had the time to get to club meetings for some time and now, with baby number two on the way and a house move looming, sadly for me I don't have the time or space to keep the Elise any longer.

The car has a complete service and MOT history with all bills/receipts while I have owned it (I've listed this out below). Latest service was a 'B' in November 2014 and it was MOT'd on 10 Feb 2015 (expires 27 Feb 2016). Cambelt, tensioner and alternator belt were replaced at time of MOT last month. Car has now covered 78,200. I've done lots of refreshing over the last couple of years inc refurbished wheels, new window seals, new headlamps, new tyres, other bits and bobs (see history). As far as I know, the paintwork is all original. There are some stone chips on the front - no way the worst I have seen and I like to keep originality where I can. There are also 2 cracks on each front wheel arch. The price I am asking reflects this - although you have to look closely to see them and it's never bothered me so much as to have the front end re-sprayed.

So, it's a 50th anniversary edition registered on 1 March 1999. Certificate of authenticity from Lotus. Just 50 were made like this one. 50th anniversary edition features: 50th Anniversary green – created for this special edition and really gleams in the sun, Factory hard top inc storage bag, Alloy window winders, Green and raffia (beige) leather seats, Green floor mats, Gold decals ('Elise', 'Lotus' and 50th emblem on rear), gold coloured wheels which look perfect with this paint colour, front driving lamps.

There is a cobra alarm system and a radio with CD player. There were 4 keepers before me.

To ask for more info or come and have a look, please call me on 07818 2144 six two. I am located in Ilkley, West Yorkshire.

Thanks for looking

Dave

Hi Paul,

Thanks sir. Gutted to be selling but yes, a more practical machine is needed! :pat What a day for a drive today tho. I've updated the photos (taken today) and put a link to pistonheads ad. Just had the front tracking done at Track Torque this morning and the car is so great to drive now... Oh there will be tears when it goes... :(

Take care fella.

Good to see it being sold privately, I can't see that hanging about too long with the last ownership record.

If you decide not to renew membership, don't forget the forum won't chuck you off, you'll be able to get at the visitor stuff still so keep in touch from time to time. :bravo

Hi Allan,

I can't deny it's nice to still be enjoying the car!

Hope you're well. I remember first meeting you way back at Harewood in 2006 just a few months after I bought my Elise - and yours was nearly brand new! 8)

Take care

I know I have had a few pints of the black stuff but the more I look at this the more I think this is a great colour combo for the Elise (pos my favourite after mine ;0) )

Green is the new white

That looks a fair price when you look at the stupid prices people are asking for M100'S at the moment
