Lotus 340R – Honda K20
September 2000
42,500 miles
RHD - Right hand drive
£29,950

Overview: This car a RHD Lotus 340R. Only 340 of these cars were made so it is very rare. But this one is extra special; the 190 hp Rover K series engine was swapped with the bullet proof Honda K20 engine and gearbox.

Exterior: the car was repainted white which finally does the form justice. There is the full Reverie air intake and carbon wheel arches. The body was also split into 2 parts to easily remove it. The car has the original tonneau cover and unique outdoor full weather cover. Lights are upgraded HIDs with LED sidelights. Private 340R number plate included in sale.

Interior: the minimalist interior has upgraded leather seats and 4 point Scroth seat belts.

Engine: the old VHPD Rover was changed, no more head gasket worries! The engine is now the famous Honda K20A. It is managed by an Hondata KPro ECU with 222hp. The conversion’s kit from Link Up and is running without any issues.

This 340R is also equipped with a complete tailor-made exhaust system from Jim at Tubular fed by a Hurricane induction system.

Battery is a lightweight race battery.

Gearbox: the usual 6 speed Honda gearbox is not the JDM shortened version.

Suspension / brake: Nitron 2 way adjustable. Brakes are uprated aluminium bells with grooved discs with Carbon Lorraine RC5 fed via braided hoses.

Wheels: Ultra rare Technomagnesio wheels shod with Yoko 888s, 4.77kg & 5.82kg front and rear. The car comes with the spare delivery wheels made by Rimstock shod with Goodyear F1s.

Servicing: Murray Motors Edinburgh, Craig Moncrieff Cars (Edinburgh) March 2016

Note: CAT D due to deer strike to the clam back in 2007 & professionally repaired and insured without issue annually.
