Elan plus 2

I have a plus2 (1971) and ai am trying to find out what cars may have the same type of seats please ? John

I'll ask the question at tonight's meeting John, I'm sure some of our Classic brethren can help.
Personally I think they may have been custom made for Lotus but I'm usually wrong

I was informed they were ford capri mk1 but I was at a show on Sunday & they are not from that model, thanks for the help. JV

almost certain that they are unique to the +2 although some early models had the same seats as the baby Elan.
many cars have been retro fit over the years with seats from MX5, Audi TT, Elise etc.

Thank you for the information, I am trying to find the seat diaphragm( rubber part under the seat) I have tried Sue Miller & Paul Matty but no luck so far, someone must have refurbished their seats by now ? Knowing Lotus I wonder if the seats are lower part from one car and the back part from something else ? Thanks anyway.JV
