Evening all,
I didn't think I'd be writing this and for sure I'm already regretting it,
This is my second Lotus Elise and after 6 years trying to find 'the one', I vowed to never ever to sell it. However, with a very young family (two children under 3) I find the opportunities for current and future use increasingly limited. I am very particular about my cars and this Lotus has been thoroughly pampered, dry stored on trickle charge, never tracked and is offered here today beautifully presented.
Ok, here goes. I present here an unmolested, immaculate Lotus Elise Sport 160.

I am in absolutely no rush to sell and would happily keep it.
There hasn’t been a genuine Elise Sport 160 in this condition and with this low mileage for sale for years. Prices for original, unmolested and low mileage Elise have been on the rise for the last 12 - 18 months and I wouldn’t expect that to change given the low production number and purist appeal.
I will be genuinely gutted when this sells (just ask the wife as it’s all I’ve talked about this Christmas) and I hope the new owners appreciate it and enjoy it as much as I have. There will be no other car like it again.

Is this one of the sea or a later model, have you got the original air box, if you have I would probably fit that for anybody who may be interested in Europe.
I would refit the original rear indicators.
£30k does seem steep/ambitious even noting the low mileage, condition or may be I am behind the times/values of S1 (are they going up again?)
nb I am not interested in buying the car but above relates to my general interest in the car as I always loved the sport 160

Well it certainly makes your car look cheap Paul .PaulT wrote:Fonzey wrote:tacticalHe's using my tactics - "I don't really want to sell it but if someone has a truckload of money...."
What a nice motor.

And suddenly I realised that I was no longer driving the car consciously. I was driving it by a kind of instinct, only I was in a different dimension. Ayrton Senna
