Hi Dennis, it's the colour used in the brochures at the launch of the S2. Lighter than magnetic or azure blue but not pale blue.

Have you thought of buying one in another colour and having it painted?

Hi Moggy, yes that's the plan eventually if nothing turns up. I had a contact in Immingham who painted a lot of my Corgi Elans and other models years ago. Hopefully he'll be able to help.

Old Lotus don't die they get fixed and if it cannot be fixed with a BIG hammer then you have an electrical problem.

As Alan had success with his model search does anyone have one of these for sale or know where I can get one from?

2 places I found Moggy:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/57g/Lotus-34 ... B0024E8U8O

An ebay seller who's away at the moment, had one that didn't sell, so may well still have it.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1-43-SPARK-LO ... 2297573554

Both on the pricey side though, much like the real thing it seems!
