This when our Elises our under cover in the garage and the Elan is under his cover and a foot of snow on the drive and we cant get off our road!
Orange Exige, Ringinglow Rd, Sheffield
Unbelievable - as I was wading through thigh deep snow on one of the minor roads into the Peak District, there was a familiar engine note approaching through the blizzard, then an Exige came snaking down the road. He was good enough to reverse back up the road for a chat - cant remember the chaps name (my brain was so cold) but he's a NYLOC Member from Rotherham, and a business partner had given him some Winter Tyres so it seemed rude not to try them out

One of our ex members who I still follow on Twitter posted this yesterday... and we've got some Alpine adventurer members who don't seem fearful of the snow either. They're really good fun in bad conditions, just needs a bag of spuds in the boot for traction and off y'go

Ah no, that's not the Exige, that's a green Elise with Dave Pollard at the helm - I was just posting that as an example of Lotus use in bad weather. Either way, it's good to see folks do a double-take as you drive around in the snow. Roof off for bonus points.
His name will have been Jonty. I've posted a video of him driving that day on the Nyloc Facebook page. I've had a drive of his exige........ but not in the snow I might add!!
