I am closer to the Notts border than the NYorks one?!
A little intro : I took over the running of exiges.com from the creator DB just under a year ago, more importantly I have owned my exige for 2 years and have thrown the GDP of a developing country at getting it to run correctly. I have loved every minute of the car as well!
I was hoping to do more meets in 2020 and trackdays but the current situation has knackered that!

Welcome aboard Andy.
There are several developments going on in NYLOC, not least the setting up of an online method to join the club. That will be essential for NYLOC to continue.
We have always been keen to attract people who would come to a meeting, and to take part in events, since we saw these as more important than our online presence.
However, clearly we cannot have those meetings at this time, and it has been obvious to us for long enough that getting to a meeting on a 4th Tuesday may not be possible. Also, for some a meeting is just not their thing.
So in order to see the rest of the forum, you will need to "join" NYLOC. I am sure PT will guide you along.
NYLOC attracts members from far beyond the borders of North Yorkshire. The North East, South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, Lancashire, and Lincolnshire are all represented.
WELCOME

Hi All, I'm a little further south than Rotherham, being in Sussex. However I am *North* of sea by many yards! I actually only came in to put up an advert for my s1 111s (I asked permission first) but murphy's law has it I'm suddenly finding reverse hard to get in to so the sale is on hold until I get that sorted. You have some lovely group photos on here, so I'd better offer some Northern credentials so I can stay and look around for a bit. I commuted near and worked in Chesterfield and Sheffield. My main interest is hill walking, I've spent a lot of time in the dales and Lakes and Leeds/Bradford (not hill walking, more shopping and eating curries).
Sorry for the delay in replying. Yes I am selling newt (my s1 111s) but I became a bit distracted when selling the Lotus and instead bought another car, then my wife said that as I had a new car why couldn't she. So instead of having one less car we have 2 more and still have the Lotus. I should have made the decision to sell earlier in the year, I think I'll leave it to the summer to advertise now.
