Paul, consider going for an alcantara centre, it grips you much better than sliding about on leather. It also doesn't get as hot/cold, to the touch, not sure about how it wears though but my old 135R seats still looked fresh after a far bit of abuse.

As a rule we dont stock "loaner" seats to assist customers with the retrim as the factory cant always guarantee the lead time on the re-trim. I am looking into sourcing a couple of loaners but as you will all know they aint exactly cheap.... One of my customers got around the issue by sending one seat off at a time!! He merely swapped the passenger side onto the d/s and reversed the runners to enable operation of the adjustment!!!.
