Sorry if I've inadvertantly put the cat among the pigeons by using the word "detailing". Completely unintentional. Please feel free to berate me for the state of my car on Tuesday!

Don't worry it is just something that realy gets to me, it suggests this is some new phanomina

and anyone who cleaned a car before this were only playing at it
Also from what I have seen most people who refer to detailing, they simply mean they will spend ££££'s and hours polishing the nice easy to get to outside of the car and forget about bits you don't normaly get to see e.g. wheel arches, bulkheads, hubs, suspension etc.
Will get off my soap box now

.

Will you guys be going on Tuesday straight from work? I'm thinking about coming home first and having a quick detail in the shower before heading out

Chevronb37 / Andy,
If you read this before sunday morning, I don't live far away, I will have a run through for a "wax on, wax off" for a hour or so. God I'm bu**ered already.
Look for 2

in either a black Elise or we (Neil and I) might have both Elise there one black and one silver.
See ya,
Doug.

Doug,
Cheers for that, mate. I'll be down in a Laser Blue 111R, you should be able to spot me, I'm the scruffy one who needs to learn how to operate a razor and an iron...
I'm new to this word detailing so will try to avoid it from now on. I don't want to be pretentious about it!

Yeah, I'm aiming for 10.00am as well. I don't know what the set up there is but the car is as below. I'll be wearing a tshirt featuring a Can Am Porsche 917/10. Please come and say hi - I want to meet some fellow Lotus enthusiasts!
