Many thanks must go to Gareth from CLOG for managing to get us free tickets for this again.
And a great new parking location !
Really cannot see why more didnt take up the offer to see one of the premier historic race meets in the calendar.

Virtually every race featured a grandstand finish and we almost had a Lotus victory in the Guards Trophy GT race - well done to Sean Walker for realy taking the fight to Jon Minshaw's mighty Lightweight. Awesome day.

Never seen Oulton Pk so busy on a car day for years.
Had a great day and even Mrs Jester enjoyed it, despite me droning on about my memories of cars and days gone by at Oulton.
No such problems, I hope, with my fellow Nylocers and Norloggers.
Favourite car of the day? Lovely 1930s(?) Alfa sports in padddock, deep plum, almost black, colour.
So glad I saw the Ferguson P99 in the pitlane and able to grab a few snaps as I missed the track demo.
I was there in 1961 when it won the Gold Cup, you know (or did I already mention that?)
Note to Chevron. We still haven't had that long chat I'm sure we're due about the cars of my youth.
And once again, a big thanks, to the elanman for supplying tickets.

Pics to follow, Martin - never fear, camera was always in hand!
Jester, it was fantastic to see Sir Stirling in the P99, wasn't it? I am deeply envious that you were there to see it win in period. I feel deeply honoured to have seen Whizzo Williams win at Goodwood a couple of years back instead. Not quite the same though! Gutted we missed out on a good chin-wag. How are you fixed for Donington this weekend?
