I've heard from the dealer also today, MOT failed on rear brake pipes corroded - so they've replaced them.
Front tyres have also been an advisory this year AND last year according to the DVLA MOT history checker. I'm trying to push him into swapping those too - as he did say "we'll sort anything that's wrong"
Exciting stuff!

Sounds like Ian and Alison, they've got a red Elise S1 and blue over White Elan Sprint drophead, still active members from over the Border

Brilliant, hopefully they swing by the thread and say hello at somepoint - as I doubt they make the trip to Buckles on a regular basis

The Wife and I are planning a trip in the summer hols (she's a teacher) to cover the EU must-do's such as Stelvio, including a trip back to Monaco (we like it there) so hopefully this car is a reliable one!
Some of us have done Stelvio twice on our Euro tour last couple of years but won't be doing it again! If it's on your bucket list then go for it but it looks better on the telly on Top Gear than it is to drive it (bikes and cyclists galore!) (Just my opinion)

RFM - "Celebrity" locations rarely live up to it I guess, I've not got a route nailed down yet - but when I come to planning I'll be sure to seek feedback from team NYLOC
Anyway, enough of that!
Collection day today
Car was a treat to drive home, all 3 hours of it. 39mpg too - WTF!?

That does look nice apart from that black bit over the cabin.....is it a roof I see?. (Joking, I'm thinking of sticking my hard top on for 2016

Re the mpg, my s1 is quite efficient even if I give it some far better than the ST (that is no where near as much fun)

Looks great, tempted to come in ours on Tuesday but it's a pain shuffling the cars around for a two mile journey each way in the dark
Laser blue in abundance, reminds me of the early years of Nyloc when we had five Norfolk Mustard S1 Elises. I think they've all still got them

Just a quick note to say nice to meet everybody that I met on tuesday, I was not expecting such a turnout for a winter car-club meet.
