Apologies for the size of this graphic but it shows exactly where the Buckles Inn is...
Now if you're travelling East to West West to East on that map it's a doddle, you just need to keep your eyes peeled for the turn off as it's not lit. If you're travelling the other way then you need to do as Hesslenaylor says and come off at the McDonalds bit, go left and over the A64 to then rejoin East -> West West -> East.

People arrive anytime from 6.30 but at this time of year you'll be on your own at that time no doubt. I would think I'll be there about 7 - 7.30. We have a chin wag and then the main meeting is in the back of the pub where we catch up with events past, present and future and some of us have lessons in working out which is East / West.

Head for York, take the Leeds turn off at roundabout A64

Take the Bilborough turn off Big Macs with an overhead road crossing A64

Hiya mate, the next meeting is this coming Tuesday. Should be a fine occassion. Your Excel will fit right in - there are usually a couple in the car park. Lovely group of characters and loads of amazing cars as well.

That's not big, 1:1 would give a more accurate impression of distances. I'm sure the Buckles to Copmanthorpe is more than 5 inches. I'll check with Nyloc1 and get back to you (you old giffer)

Easily the best kind of S2, I'd say Mark!

I have an S2 111R, Roger. I bought it in February and love it more with every passing day. I drew a picture of an Esprit I'd seen racing at Oulton Park in my school book when I was just five so the real culmination of a dream getting to own a Lotus. The club is a proper good laugh and it is a genuine privilege to have one's own car in the same car park as so many iconic vehicles. See you tomorrow!
