Hi
Thanks for allowing me to join your forum. Live over on the Wirral, but have friends that live in Yorkshire so over quiet a bit. Hopefully meet up soon.

Welcome to our club

Hope you can get over to club nights occasionally. It's not a bad run from the Wirral, M60 permitting.
Shame you've missed the summer meets, dark nights on the way

Hello from Chester,
I'm Richard, live in Chester and a member of the NORLOG gang.
I think I may have met a number of you in the past on runs or at Oulton Park.
Jane, my wife, is a Yorkshire girl and my youngest daughter is currently at Leeds Uni, so we do get over to "Gods own country"
We are at Chatsworth tomorrow, on the run first. So may see some of you around.
Photo of our car...

Welcome, Richard
I keep saying it, but we should see more of NORLOG - we've always had links with them and we do have a few members with feet in both camps. Jester (Thommo on your forum, he leads a dual life!) posts up about the new venue and we've had a few members go over the last couple of months.
Nice car, nice photo, nice location

Lovely looking car, Location on the photo is where exactly?
I may attend the meet on 4th Tuesday at Buckles Inn. Though i'm not overly knowledgeable with all Lotus models I do own one so my foot is in the door so to speak right?
And to be fair, where else are you going to have an Aubergine Elise coming from? Not seen any others on the road 'so far'

You do right to pop along to the meetings... I can't guarantee zero attendance of other aubergine cars though

In a mutual back-patting operation, I nearly bought an 03 aubergine in Lamb's, Sheffield when I bought mine. I wasn't quite ready to commit to buying but I still drove a 111S they had. Never forget that drive, the first time you take a Lotus out into normal traffic - weird!

One thing i do notice. I get a lot of looks from mainly men when in the car and some women. However I am starting to get used to hearing nasty comments shouted at me as i drive by. Usually by people in their own cars.
