Hey, sorry, can't post in the memebers bit hence the post here. I am trying to find a INduction Kit for the toyota engine but Hangar 111 and Elise Parts don't have any yet. Can I just get one for the Rover engine and hope it fits or is it more compicated than that.

You need to be very careful with induction on the Toyota engine.

A number of the third party kits have been reported to cause the mil light to come on.

You can get the TRD Airbox from lotus motorsport as fitted to the exige cup.

I've fitted one to mine and it sounds good. It was a bitch to fit though.

You need these 2 parts:

Part No. - ALS3E0157F (TRD High Flow Air Filter Air Box)

Part No. - ALS3E0158F (Lotus High Flow Air Filter)

Andy111R, do these parts fit onto the Base Elise S??? Seems like the only thing you can get for this is the Improved filter. Also is that box only for the SC/Exige?? Think I am having a blonde moment.

Didn't realise you had an S that has the toyota 1zz engine out of the mr2 so I don't know without seeing under the hood.

The TRD airbox replaces just half of the old one so it would need to have the right one.

You could ring lotus motorsport and ask em or bring your car to the next buckles and we'll have a look.
