Mark, when a PM is read by the recipient, it moves from your Outbox to your Sent box. That way you can tell when someone reads your message.

Hi Mark
Yes i got the PM OK.
I will check my on call duty shifts for that date.
Also i have booked my car in with Steve Barrowclough for next week to service , set up the carbs & check her over does he have a rolling road:twisted
A few other people have also recommended Steve to me.
P.S. Is your other Lotus a Esprit Turbo ? a few people have asked?

Where is Steve Barrowclough based ?
Best place for a rolling road in Hull is Dreamscience down Argyle St,alongside Hull Royal Infirmary.
In the past I have organised two rolling road days for another car forum and I have always found them proffesional and friendly.
They can also tell you what your 1/4 mile time is

,mine was 11secs which took the smiles off a few Focus ST owners
Price two years ago was around £25 and the rolling road is brand new

OK, proper fick question here...(I is just a simple builder innit)
What benefit does a rolling road bring? I understand it involves some level of tuning, but what precisely do they do? I'm always game for anything which might make the Elise quicker, but see a lot of this on Pistonheads where it is used as a justification for why X car is loads better than Y car...
Thanks,
Andy

Thats the main reason
Good if your engine is mappable and for fault finding if you have the right software

Might be worth a punt at £25 then, will look into it.
