Re-Spray

I've got a Nautilus Blue (Think that's spelt right) S1 which could do with a full re-spray. Can anyone recommend a good bodyshop & also give me an indication of cost? Thanks.

Dennis will be along shortly to tell you the name of the best re-sprayers in the county (I can't recall their name). Are you going for a respray in the same colour or are you going to change the colour? The latter will probably cost a grand more, and I'd think a same colour respray would be around 2,500.

Depends what you want doing what you end up paying, I use Jamie Dent (near Northallerton) 07712648643, he has painted several vehicles for me including HGVs and my Elan +2 and recently my Esprit had some damage repaired and a colour change respray, brilliant job every time for little money compared to some bigger body/restoration srayshops

I use Central Garage for all my cars including the stuff on my fleet, They produce some wonderful show winning paint jobs .
I have used them since since I came across them 16 years ago after being barred form about 10 bodyshops (some large well know and recomended places) due to complaining about their 'acceptable' paint work that was not to my expectation/standard.
Central are the only garage I am aware of that meet my very high expectations time and time again
The will do minor repairs to full restoration and even will build you a complete one off bespoke car for off-roading or track if that is your thing.
Both Tony's and Doug's Lotus' that won at buckles on tuesday have their paint done by Central
Mine should be back in in the winter for something new

I also have a S1 in Nautilus Blue, i have had the sills and boot cover done at K.P.Andersons of Hartlepool. the match is outstanding and I am very happy with the work done.
