It's very quite on this part of the forum :zzz I joined up a little while ago, hoping to get to one of your meets so I can get full access, but alas looking at my work calendar I'm not going to make the next two at least :bawl So this poor northerner is having to mince about down on SELOC for now :police :ymca :woo :pirate (that's the best "Village People" I could make out of the emoticons available :P )

Anyway I've bought an Exige from Jay / Pure Lotus, I understand it was owned by Tony on here? Laser Blue, 2006 with the Hangar111/Komotec 250S kit? I had bought it (and justified buying it) on the basis it already had everything I would want so no need to spend money 'toying' with it. But already I've got a list of things I want to do:

* Extended scoop Roof
* Carbon Front Splitter (bought)
* Carbon Side Pods
* Carbon Rear Spoiler
* Extended Rear Diffuser (bought)
* Leather Trim Centre Console
* Oil Pressure & Temp Gauges
* Set of Track Wheels (bought)

Most of that's cosmetic as the 'real/proper' mods have been done. I'm considering an LSD and possibly brake upgrade, but I'll see how it goes on track this Sunday first :bravo

Right well here is a quick picture of the car when I first got home from collecting it a few weeks ago :) So bye bye for now :wavey when I finally get a chance to get to a meet I'll see some of you there and hopefully be back on here enjoying full membership :bravo

Snetterton. Open pitlane and 105db 8) There is a small doubt in my mind on whether it will pass the noise level test, it is bloody loud.

If anyone can find anything on here relating to how Tony / the car got on with noise level tests and could let me know that would be great :bravo

Welcome Mark. :wavey

Motor looks very tasty. Lovely colour - I'm sure another Mark on here (Hemmingway) will be along shortly to sing it's praises too, as it looks very similar to his! (He's gone long scoop, & carbon tat already too... )

Saw you mincing about on SELOC - Don't worry - there are a few of us NYLOCers over there too. Somebody has to keep an eye on them. :bravo

Hope to see you at a meet in the near future.

Martyn.

Yep, great colour, know the car well :bravo

Tony didn't seem to have bother with track noise limits.

PS Mart, you missed off my extended rear diffuser, carbon side pods, carbon rear wing :D

Welcome to NYLOC. It's like SELOC but with (slightly) fewer Porsches and Aston Martins.

Lovely colour for an Exige but it looks much too new and reliable for my tastes :lol

Hope you enjoy the car, a cliche but was my pride and joy and no expense spared. life and 1 yr old mean 4 doors, turbo and big bhp justify the sale however I hope to be back.... Tony

PS No problem with noise other than Doni try to brake late a Castle Combe, enjoy.
