Just made it so all the posts are in one place but the topics are in two places.

Matt's 'in a nutshell' explanation once again saves the day.
Danny, to sum up...
topic
noun
1. a subject which is discussed, written about or studied.
merge
verb (used with object)
1. to cause to combine or coalesce; unite.
"Topics merged" - here we have a noun (in the plural):
topics and a verb (used here in the perfect tense)
merged. The fact that the verb is being used in the perfect tense indicates that the action has been completed. The verb "to merge" , has been applied to the noun(s) "topics" - in this case the topic is the object. Another way of saying this would be 'The topics were merged' but Matt chopped 50% of that off and ended up with a customer-driven, turnkey solution "Topics merged".
Yours sincerely,
The Grammar Police.
Disclaimer: I don't particularly care about grammar on forums, I'm just winding Danny up

If it was a 6am start I would have come along but I'm normally done and had a coffee and bacon butty by 0930.
