Simon - any chance you can hold onto the engine cover and hinge for me? I want to get mine sorted out while it's with the Edwardz Boyz but not sure whether it's the cover or the hinge that's the problem. Should be going to Martin for fettling soon. Might even be able to drive it before 2014 :lol

Simon,
If it turns out Chevron does not want the engine cover I'd be delighted to take it off your hands.

Both you buggers have an exige. I'm interested in the engine lid and hinge also as it's the one thing I can't get aftermarket!

Andy let me know what you might be doing with you old one if you do swap it out as I'm after one for my build.

Of course, mate. It got kinked slightly when it was caught by the wind but not sure if it's the hinge or the cover that's damaged. Hopefully Martin can diagnose and fix.

Good luck with the Exige build. Sure you don't want a proper VHPD in there and not one of those Jap lumps?

Well I'm doing the math on the parts I want to put on it. I think it might be pedal powered and finished a year behind schedule and double the budget!

Oops, only just seen this - sorry, Simon. As the Exige is still forlornly sat in the garage awaiting attention from Martin and Steve then sell it to somebody who can make use of it. That Jester character's alright - he gets my vote :bravo :lol

Picking between NYLOC members is like choosing a favourite child. I will be envious when you have a correctly fitting engine cover, though, Steve!

Si - looks like you've ended up with an engine cover anyway, mate. I reckon your car will be built before mine's back on the road at this rate :lol
