Would anyone be interested in joining the Lotus Drivers Club at this years sprinting event held at Curborough? Photos from 2013.

Thursday 15 May 2014

The date for this years introduction to trackdays and sprinting event is Thursday 15th of May. This is a brilliant chance for anyone with little or no experience of sprinting or trackdays. The controlled environment will allow you to learn to push yourself and your car as far as you with no other cars on circuit at the same time to worry about.

There are also plenty of chances to get in the passenger seat with more experienced drivers.

I was there with the peugeot sport club so loads of 205's & 309's, a couple with Mi16 conversions, and a tricked up golf.

My first real play in the Elise and I was the fastest of the day, it did me proud, oh and the sun was out so I was also topless :bravo

I went last year and the weather was sublime, much better than the previous year which was extremely wet, but still fun!

If anyone wants to come this year, everyone is welcome. It is also not strictly just for Lotus cars, there's usually a nice selection on the day.

Sound good to me. I was thinking about entering the Blyton LOT sprint round in July 12 & 13 as it's a double header as an intro to sprinting also?

There's still a few places available if anyone is interested in taking part on Thursday? There's drink and food organised for the day as well at a cost of £15pp, plus the weathers looking good! All the details can be found here: http://www.lotusdriversclub.org.uk/?p=3677
