Newbie S2 Exige owner

Hi, just joined up to NYLOC as I bought a 2004 Lotus Exige 190 in Chrome Orange at the beginning of the month and I love it!
Hopefully will see some of you out and about in Yorkshire.

Sadly I'm in Germany with work next Tuesday or I would have loved to have come along.
Yes its my first proper Lotus, unless you count the Lotus 7 replica (JC Locust) I had when I was 18! I've mainly been a Ferrari man then I tried a TVR Cerbera and didn't get on very well with it due to shocking reliability so when a friend said he was selling this Exige that I'd known for quite a few years I couldn't help but have it off him! And its possibly the best car I've ever owned!

Is Germany a long term thing then?
Go on, I've got to bite at the Ferrari info - what have you had and what were your experiences?

Jonty currently has a yellow 355. Well I say currently its been getting restored for quite some time now.
By the way Jonty I'm a SCD member not a stalker.
Nice to see you on here Jonty and I hope to see you at some events in the future.

No, only in Germany for a few days, Sunday to Wednesday though.
Had wondered if I was going to bump into any Supercar-driver members on here! I said to you at the Cadeby I loved Exiges.
As for Ferraris, as mentioned, I have a 1996 F355 Spider in yellow thats being restored and then sold. I've had that one for over 8 years. I also had a Ferrari 308 GTB for 18 months that I sold a year ago. I'd always wanted a 308 or 355 but since prices were going up at the time I managed to justify it to the wife to have 2 Ferraris for a bit. It paid off in the end!
Then after the 308 sold I used the profit to buy a TVR Cerbera which was a nightmare so I sold it after just 7 months of ownership, plus it needed to go because I'd bought the Exige from a friend so I needed the space and money!

BTW. Don't suppose any one on here is selling a short soft top are they?
