For sale is my 2003 (52 plate) S2 Lotus Elise 111s in Ardent Red with black soft top, matching Ardent Red hardtop (with storage bag) and a set of winter tyres on 111s alloy wheels.




The car was first registered on 2 January 2003 and I am the second owner. I have owned her for the last 10 years and have used her as my daily drive all this time, with the winter tyres proving to be invaluable in wintry conditions. Current mileage is 69,898.

She has been lovingly maintained all her life, is in very good condition and has always been garaged. In 2014 she was partially resprayed due to the usual Elise problem of stone chips. The Armourfend paint protection film was replaced at the same time.

In January 2012 the head gasket was professionally replaced.

The car has Yokohama Advan Neova AD07 tyres fitted all round. Included with the car is a set of 111s wheels fitted with Pirelli winter tyres.

The car has a full service history, a fully stamped service book and a folder full of receipts and old MOTs. For the last few years she has been looked after by a local independent Lotus specialist. She is MOT’d to 4 January 2018 and taxed to 31 December 2017. The next service is due in November 2017.

The car comes with two sets of keys, has a Cobra alarm and an immobiliser.

That's a nice motor - and a similar situation to me last October but I kept it.

Yes - I take her over to Chris - he's more or less on my doorstep. He does whatever work is needed and both he and Steve do an excellent job. Quite a trip for you though, if you go to him too.

Recent C-service and a brake problem emptied my wallet into Chris' but car feels great now and looking forward to 600 miles (France) later today. Huddersfield's not far really

I've thoroughly enjoyed owning her and driving her in all weathers. Lots of fun in the snow - but the winter tyres do help a lot. It's always amusing to watch people in "normal" cars sliding around on the snow whilst I'm driving along like I'm on clean tarmac!!
