Hi All,

My name's Aaron, and I've recently bought a 2008 Elise S....which after a bit of internet stalking, I believe was owned by a previous member here. The car even features in your gallery on the main NYLOC page:



(The top burnt orange Elise with black sptripes). Looks like the car was tracked at least once!

The car was on a private plate K*** BHP at the time I think - its on its original plate AU08 F**

Its still in very good nick, and has been looked after well. Would just be nice to hear from a previous owner, and check back on some of the car's provenance!

That picture was taken at Abbeville circuit in France in 2012. The owner is no longer a member of the club. If I have a rummage I may have some more pictures of it. If you are interested in more, email me on [email protected]

Does it still have the stickers on? I think the plate is on a Porsche now.

Hi guys, thanks very much for the info. Yes, I DVLA'd the numberplate, and I think its on a Boxster now. I think I found the guy on Facebook too

Nice to see its been properly used on track! Its done 62K now, and excellent order apart from some stone chips on the lower front.

I bought from Guy Munday (who some of you may know has some close involvement with the Lotus factory) who took it from Bell & Collville I believe (as it was too old for them to sell). Its a great car, and my third Lotus after a gap of nearly 20 years (kids etc!).

Looking at the history, it was a factory Lotus sold/serviced car, and first owned by the head of purchasing of Lotus at the time (Simon Ockenden).

It doesn't have the green stickers on any more - it has a central black stripe, and lower sill stripes too.

Great stuff Aaron, I’ve had many chats with Guy over the years. Car looks brilliant, look forward to seeing you at our meets and events.

Yup, Guy was a great chap to deal with, and talk about old Lotuses! I believe he does (or used to) do the factory tours in Hethel.

Would love to come to a meet - but I'm down the other end of the country in sunny Hastings!
