Wanted - Washer bottle pump/motor thingy

Anyone got a spare washer bottle pump/motor? Mine keeps sticking and I am not able to clean the windscreen. Got to go to Oulton tomorrow so could do with getting one quickly.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

its more often than not that the jets are blocked, have you checked them? cleaning the algie out of the bottle on a regular basis also helps to keep them clear, I have used milton previously (leave it to soak for a while and also agitate it by shaking the bottle vigorously) or a bottle brush

£20 from eliseparts, is it worth the hassle of buggering about if its not an obvious fix. I bet is about £10 from a motor factors.

Definatly the pump Moggy. I had it out yesturday and connected it directly to a 12v supply. It was stuck, but after a few wacks, it started up again so put it together again. Driving down to York this morning, bloody thing wouldnt work.

Thanks for the link Simon, I will see if I can get over to a motor factors to see if they have something in stock. Failing that, I will order one from Geary, but it wont arrive in time for Oulton

If your pump is making the right noises then do as Moggy suggests. Though you might want to change to a spray bar system rather than the nozzles. I did - highly recommended upgrade for under £20.

Imminently for tomorrow (I haven;t checked the weather) you might want to get a bottle of RainX or similar...

If I remember correctly the pump is the same as a rover 600. I just went to the factors with the old one and we looked through the book.

Just got back from York Motor Factors, £9.54+ vat and it is a Rover 600 jobbie.
