Its been a while since i have posted - hope everyone is keeping well. For the past year or so my wife and I have been deeply involved with the adoption process and at last it looks as though we may be matched with twin girls! - My life is about to change forever :D unfortunately logic and economics dictate that the S1 must go and at least until this blo*dy economy improves i will have to be more sensible. :cry

Haven’t decided on best way to sell the car yet and so I thought I would see what the comments from everyone on NYLOC were. not sure where to price this, similar cars on pistonheads appear to be circa £8.5K, but mine is pretty well spec’ed. brief details set out below. - i am open to all realistic and reasonable offers

thanks

richard

The basic summary is: - a limited edition S1 Millennium . Currently 67K on the clock, but the engine was changed by JPS at circa 50K. It now has approx 145bhp. It’s got an emerald (mapped by dave himself) 4-2-1, air box, direct to head throttle bodies, sports exhaust and sports cat. Nitrons (fitted last year) I full set of spare tyres (enough tread for one track day) plus a Gull-wing hard top (with cover) It does have quite a bit of paint damage and could really do with at least the front clam re-spraying, if not the whole car.

A superb car, really don’t want to sell it, but needs must I’m afraid.

Great news on the adoption Richard :bravo

You can always get another Lotus when the conditions are right, myself and others in NYLOC waited and waited as the family grew up and now we're back.
If it is still, take a photo of it. If it moves, take a photo of it.

Great news regarding the girls - FANTASTIC.

Sorry the car has to go but you can get another in the future and your time is going to be taken up for a while now.

Good luck!

Nice motor, hope you get what you want for it :)
I'm sure you'll be back in a Lotus one day, just hope it doesn't take 17 years like it did for us :roll

thanks guys, your support is very much appreciated. can anyone give me steer on the likely sales price for my car. am i being unrealistic suggesting circa £8.5K. i could do with getting it sold to help fund the new arrivals and all their bits and pieces :P - as long as its a realistic price i would consider. does anyone know somone looking for a good entry level S1?

I've always got clients 'talking about' getting a Lotus, I'll see if I can get one to put his money where his mouth is :)
Obviously move it on if you get a reasonable offer, your price seems fair and if I could get in and out of the damned things I might buy it myself! :roll
