Taxed & MoT till Feb 2010

2 owners from new, with the first owner being Lotus, with myself being the second owner for the last 70k miles.

Full service history, including all receipts, always serviced ahead of time and with quality parts.

Full C service done less than 4k ago, both belts changed, Payen gaskets fitted and remote thermostat fitted, runs a smooth 84C, even when pushed.

Full Nitron suspension fitted less than 4K ago
Uprated All ally radiator fitted along with new fans.
MSA Harness Bar
Drivers side 4 point 3" Schroth harness for the Elise with anti-sub.
Lotus Branded Sports Exhaust
Sports Cat fitted (always gets through MoT emissions without issue)
Turbo Grooved Disks less than 10k old
Pagid RS42 pads

Front tow eye replaced with Stainless steel, plus MSA diameter eyes, along with the smaller stainless. Front clam was resprayed less than 4k ago, removing the stone chips. Rest of bodywork is very good, especially for the mileage of the vehicle.

Rear MSA tow eye fitted for at the rear.

Alpine Head unit with Ipod connector and integration
TomTom docking cradle built into dash - powered and TomTom One XL will be included with sale.
Also a 'spare' dashboard should you wish to have an unaltered dash fitted.

All carpeted inside - leather seats / alcantera dash / etc, the standard Sports Tourer fits.

Family commitments and an inept Labour goverment forcing a reluctant sale.

Meant to reply to this yesterday, got sidetracked.

Very sorry to hear you're flogging the car, Dave :(

Had things been a bit more upbeat here I'd be offering you money for a no-shame cheeky Nitron swapover. :wink

Real shame to hear this Dave, enjoyed reading about your trips during your ownership.

Good luck with the sale, looks a well-specced car for the money :up

Keep posting up and hopefully you'll be back with another Lotus in the not too distant :)

Thanks for the comments guys.

It's a reluctant sale at the moment, but I'm doing nearly 800 business miles a week and the company won't give me a bloody company car, so instead of ragging the wifes car into non-existance, I'm selling up the Elise and the 07 plated Polo and putting the money together for two motorway mile crunching MPV's.

The green machine had a rocky start, but after these years of ownership I know that the car is in tip-top condition. The recent scare about possible fusebox corrosion turned out to be nothing more than a dodgy HID ballast box - with the green corrosion powder being the sodding retaining nut and not the fusebox itself. It did awaken me to the fact that had it been more serious then I wouldn't have been able to fix the car immediately - so I'm stepping outside until finances are somewhat better.

I maybe leaving the brand for a short while, but I know I will return as soon as I can.

Hopefully there'll be a nice weekend before she sells and they'll be time for one last video. ;)
