Very sad to hear this Roger - the car's one thing but your health is quite another.
I hope you're on the mend - hope you remain on the site and in touch with the club.
If there's anything we can do - drop me a line.

Hi Roger, really sorry to hear this news. Hope you're soon out and about and as Paul says, keep in touch.
Enjoyed your posts about one of the rarer Lotuses, give it a go on here when you're ready to sell and it might go to a Nylocer.
You're always welcome at any Nyloc events :)

Hi Mark,
Many thanks for that .Yes i am feeling a lot better.
Back probs so , a low car will not be any good for me anymore.
So the E class will be coming out of retirement for classic meets.
I will be listing my Excel SA in the next week or so.
Just spent £2000 engine /parts & elect work on her to get her in tip top condition as you know.

I know it is a trek and by the sounds of it you will need someone to drive it there etc. but have you thought about putting it on show at the lotus festival in a couple of weeks, it might be just owhat someone is looking for
Cheers

I Used to suffer really badly with back pain until 1st August 98*, A Doctor diagnosed movement in one of my discs and said unless it gets worse to the point where I'd have to have surgery and fusing of said disc I'd have to live with it.

*Thats when I collected my Elise, sometimes in the early days it was agony getting in roof on and I would sit for several minutes once in, recovering from the pain, after a couple of weeks my back seemed to be giving less and less bother until the point probably about a year after collecting the car and up to present I rarely have any trouble with my back :fingers

Hi Mark,
Mis spent youth lugging burgens around on 20 mile yomps with RM & Old age catching up. :oldie
Need to play safe ,can not risk back going again ,work etc & love of classic cars,so low cars not the best .
Yes the old 1993 silver E class 220 arm chair is back on the road now hope to take her to classic meets or my retro 70's classic motorhome the wifes fave, this summer instead. Told you i loved classics :D
No rush to sell ,but she needs to go to a good home.
Great car for classic shows if right offer does not appear i just might push myself one last time get to show her at classic meets for the last time. :D
Cheers Mark :bravo
Kind regards Roger :D
