My 1997 Lotus Elise S1 in Nautilus Blue is up for sale :(

61,500 miles, MOT & tax to June 2011. Lack of use since arrival of our son and change in jobs means that it's time to sell.

I've owned the car since May 2008, and it's always been kept in the garage.

It has the Sport 135 upgrade (fitted pre 2000) and K&N induction kit (original airbox included in sale) and has the Eliseparts uprated gear linkage fitted, as well as a short-shift gearlever.
Lotus "Victory" alloys, Sport 190 spoiler, driving lamps plus upgrades including; Gaz adjustable suspension, braided clutch and brake hoses.

Yokohama Advan Neova tyres, rears new in the last couple of years and I've only covered a couple of thousand miles. Plenty of life left in all 4.

Bodywork is generally good but with the usual stonechips and a patch of crazy-paving at the rear under the spoiler. Interior is good aside from usual wear to driver's side seat edge. It has a stereo with amp, subwoofer etc. and Pioneer head unit. Sale includes hard and soft tops (soft top refurbed by Lotus in 2008).

£8,500 ono

Thanks Ishy :) It's not perfect but been a brill car and I'll be sad to see it go.

I'm open to reasonable offers so give me a shout if you don't have any luck finding something and want to come and see it.

My instructions are that Mr Ishy has no intention at this moment in time of showing any interest in buying an S1 as a cheap project. Any suggestion to the contrary is not accurate and does not reflect the views of Mr Ishy. His thoughts today are entirely concentrated upon side walls, paint choice and paper transactions as well as cost. :bow
