Hi all

Ive been pointed towards your monthly meet tomorrow which i fancied attending so i thought id just pop a post up to introduce myself and the car.

Currently im driving my chavved up vx220, an aquired taste i think lol.

Not a VXR220 then ? Looks very similar from my hazy memory.

Is that an extension above the splitter to get it lower to the ground ?

Hi matt,

No its not a vxr220, they do look very similar tho, the vxr has a 2.0l turbo engine in them, different wheels, black bits and gorgeous seats lol. Mines the 2.2 engine.

That clears that up, the VXR220 was one of the best sounding cars I've ever heard at Elvington, thought it looked similar :)

Old Lotus don't die they get fixed and if it cannot be fixed with a BIG hammer then you have an electrical problem.

Crikey, I think your VX looks even chavvier than my old shed! Look forward to seeing you up at the Buckles. I live in Burley so just a bit nearer to Leeds down the A65. Will keep an eye open for you about :bravo
