Hi

Due to relocating to a flat with only one parking space I'm having to sell my pride and joy. I've owned this car for 11 months and it's only had one previous owner, who took great care of it.

I bought the car in March 2013 with 85k on the clock and I've only added a further 3.5k in the past year, most of that has been motorway runs.

In the time I've owned it I've made the following changes:

- Replaced gear selector cable
- Replaced alternator cap
- Fitted Elise Parts gear linkage upgrade
- New front tyres (Khumo Ecsta's)
- New roof
- New ECU temperature sender

The only problem I've ever had was when the original ECU temperature sender died, but that was a cheap and easy fix (about £20 from memory). Any work I've had done on the car was always carried out at my local Lotus garage (Pure Lotus in Harrogate). The gear selector cable was replaced a couple of weeks after I bought the car, as it was on its way out, and the alternator cap needed replacing at the same time as it was rattling.

The car is still on the original Koni shocks, so the ride is very firm. I was planning to upgrade these shortly, but just haven't got round to it. The car still drives and handles beautifully as you'd expect, but generally speaking an upgrade is recommended.

I did a lot of research before buying the car, and this is the only one I could find in this sort of price range that was not cat C or D. The reg is T926 JNC, so please feel free to run any checks at your convenience.

MOT expires end March this year, but I will renew this before it sells.

Service history is present from 1999-2007 (all Lotus garages) and then there is a gap up to 2013, during which time the previous owner serviced the car himself. It was given an 'A' Service in March 2013 when I bought it, and I changed the oil and filters in July last year.

Give me a call or email if you'd like to take a look or arrange a test drive. I'm based in Leeds city centre and my number is 07887 523235. Email address is [email protected]

Pics? If you want to email them to me I'll add them for you (adminATnyloc.0RG). If you have the car on pistonheads or similar, just post a link.

Also - what colour?

Cheers Paul.

Its not getting as much interest as I'd expected. Just wondering if there's anything either missing from the ad - or in the ad itself - that could be putting people off?

Should I be looking at dropping the price?

Thanks again,

Chris

I would think it's just the time of year - as with all soft tops, they sell better when it's getting more like Spring. Doesn't look to be anything wrong with the ad - our community usually appreciates a bit of honesty!

Agree with Paul.

The ad is honest, the mileage may put a few off but I wouldn't panic - the price is fair and it will sell.
