I was with Admiral who were good for prices and any modifications (if you have any).
I'm now with Direct Line as they worked out cheaper with mirroring my no claims from my main car..

Henderson Taylor is who I have been using for years

Modded cars and track day insurance has been the major selling point for Henderson Taylor. If you are merely ordinary with a multi car policy and do not 'do' trackdays, then Admiral on a multi car policy is a good choice.
Are there any standard Elise/exige's?

I'd be somewhat hesitant, to insure something as particular as a Lotus, with the mainstream bargain bucket insurers. You will be covered, but I'd rather have the surety of a specialist who knows these cars if I was unfortunate enough to need them.
Might be a little extra, but I'd always pay that to save hassle and costs later on.

Watch out for hidden additional excesses (often £250) when you do not use their 'approved' repairer...... Because you will let just anyone who has to work for minimal £'s to bodge your pride and joy.
Nb it is not only mainstream insurer who do this, I have seen it from a number of ''performance specialist' insurers, one it had to point it out to them as they did not have a clue
