Thanks Simon,

Regan, the only one I remember was a Raleigh which had plastic bits over it with a sound box but it was white and red and called a Vector or Vectra or something like that.

Pre BMX there was Grifter, Boxer, Striker, Commando, Chipper and lets not forget the mighty Chopper. If you didnt have one of those it was a mongrel racing bike with extra wide bull horn bars.

I do remember the three sound sirens police, ambulance and fire which all kind of sounded the same. Also you could get a replacement grip that you could twist and it made an attempt to sound like a motorbike revving.

Those Yellow and Black sirens were cool 8) They had a handlebar mounted red button and the siren selector was on the yellow body. Me and my brother use to ride round on our Strikers pretending to be 'Chips'

Think I had one of those twist grip things too, was it attached to square body with the mechanical working inside?

What about collecting the old breadbag clips and putting them on your brake cables :D

I am slightly obsessed with folding bikes so I have to point out that although a Brompton is a poor choice for vert it is one of the only bikes that will fit in an Exige.
