Has anybody got any wheelspacers that will allow me to fit my Exige wheels with A048's to my car?

I am wanting to do an open pitlane trackday at Croft next week to allow me to get some track time with the new engine. Currently have the standard wheels with T1R's fitted, but dont want to use these on track.

I cant seem to get them from Geary @ Eliseparts as I have had them on order for a couple of months now :cry

You'd think someone* with a modicum of engineering skill would churn a few sets out for cost.

*Someone who knows a certain ultra-North nyloc member will also want some for his Exige wheels.

I could have made my own up until last week, but work has just got rid of its lathe and miller.

If someone has one spare and can loan it to me for a few minutes, I will knock up a CAD model so someone* can machine some up, for cost.

PT - I've sent instructions to whom you infer :lol

Mark the pikey way is to use a cheap 20mm spacer, the downside is that you'll need longer bolts and also the wheel might not locate centrally.

Scrap the above - I have just spoken to Dan and he will have them with him on Thursday :D

Si - The trackday at Croft is organised by Hexham Horseless Carriages. They are running the day open pitlane, so should allow plenty of track time. Its more expensive than normal @ £200 - but at least it will allow me some good time getting to know the engine.

Details can be found here

I will still model them up when they arrive so if someone* wants to macnine these, they have the drawings to refer to.

40 cars on track might be a bit busy but hopefully you'll get some quiet periods.

They are only allowing 16 cars on track at one time when I spoke to them.

Si, they have two other dates - so hopefully you can make one of them so we can kick some TVR butt.

Mark,

Sorry I've not been on the forum. Are they exige wheels from a yota engined car? Geary made mine up but they took awhile as they are made specially, he doesn't keep them in stock.

They are spot on though - hub centric with a nice thick boss to carry the load into the hub and not the studs.

If you want to come and take one I'll be away from thursday and not needing the car until monday. Give me a call.

Have you got long bolts? I managed to find some with the 19mm star shaped head I'll see if i can find ut where from if you need any?

Hi Rich, yep Exige wheels from a yota engined car. Geary now has some in stock, so I will be getting mine on Thursday. Thanks for the offer of a lend of yours.

Ben, I will model them up as soon as I get them and will email you the data.

Yeah, I concidered Yvo's:

But there doesnt look too much meat to secure the spacers to the hubs during hard cornering due to the countersink bolts hoding them on.
