I am a relatively new S1 owner (just 3 months now) and will be along to join on the 23rd.

In the meantime I am posting because I am going on my second track day at Elvington on the 10th. There are only 6 cars in total booked on the day so lots of space. Wondering if anyone else is interested.
I know short notice but it promises something very unusual: dry weather!!!

One other Elise going, any one here?

Still some pebbledash effect I'm afraid, but I guess the fewer cars the less the flying stones.

Welcome along Tom, we're old hands at eating Terrys burgers on here I may have popped along but I'm working and the car isn't up to a trackday at the moment

What other cars have you had then ? you sound like an elvington burger eater yourself ?

I have actually come from the dark side, being a 2 wheeler for many many years. Have decided after too many near misses in the last few years to go 4 wheels. Much more fun and probably not so painfull and costly (I hope!!)
I have just been told no catering tomorrow due to numbers, I will miss those burgers!!!!

According to their website £129 so I'm not really surprised at the low numbers when you can get a Croft day for that

I was booked in at croft last Sunday but it was called off because of flooding.

So next best tomorrow.

Same here, too many near misses and a few hits from riding bikes. Dont think my luck would have held out any longer with 2 wheels on the road.







PS, having an off in the Elise might be less painful, but can be equally costly

How did the tarck day go? I had booked my first one at Croft last weekend as well. Been looking for soemwhere else to go!

Had a great day thanks. Due to low numbers (7 cars at the start of the day!!!!) they set up a short circuit with lots of turns on the main apron. But it was dry and sunny and relatively warm and by lunchtime we had about 20 cars.
A good number for the track with open pitlane.
2 S1s and an S2 plus 2 Atoms and the new GTR which was interesting!
