Newbie to lotus
I have just registered on NYLOC and wanted to introduce myself and say hello to everyone. I've just recently purchased a red 2007 Elise 111S. I am over the moon with the car and it looks and performs great! Lee

Lee you're correct, it's the 22nd and you'd be made most welcome to come suss us out without obligation.
There's not a right lot in it between the various Elise models until you hit the likes of the SC - and even then, in real world terms you're not far off.
Happy days.

Welcome lee.
Suspect your elise is actually the 5sp 135bhp 1zr elise(Toyota mr2 and celica) engine as apposed to the 111's vvc K series model.(which stopped production in 05-55).
Either way nice choice..

Hi Lee, welcome to NYLOC. I live in the Burley/Kirkstall area of Leeds so not far from Morley. There are a couple of other chaps in the vicinity too. If you'd like to convoy up to the next Buckles meeting, give me a shout. Really pleased you're enjoying life with your Elise - they are such fantastic cars.
Thanks for the warm welcome everyone

Old Lotus don't die they get fixed and if it cannot be fixed with a BIG hammer then you have an electrical problem.
